No Bounds festival ‘beyond ecstatic’ to host in person events

An award-winning Sheffield music festival, which returns today (16 October), has been given the go-ahead to hold socially distanced live events for groups of six people from MULTIPLE HOUSHOLDS, at Hope Works.

Announcing the news, No Bounds Festival organisers said: “We are able to have groups of 6 people [FROM MULTIPLE HOUSHOLDS!] join us for this weekend’s No Bounds Festival events at Hope Works!

“This could be one of the last chances you have to socialise in a group outside of your households based on the current guidance and we are beyond ecstatic that we are able to do this for No Bounds 2020 Virtual 3D!”

The weekend kicks off tonight with a Bass Special, featuring some of Sheffield’s best bass crews, as part of the weekend’s line-up of in person only and live stream hybrid events.

Toyday’s line-up begins at 4pm with Rave & Raise and continues throughout the day featuring Aria, Andy H, Displace DnB, Charla Green, Oris Jay, CLOUWDS and The Wub Club Ft FORCA B2B Deadbeat UK, Mr Dubz, and LUNAR, until 10pm.

The event then continues as an online ony event from 10pm – 2am with Off Me Nut Records ft Thorpey, More Fool U, keg1 and Venz, Gracie T, Skoped UK and Steel City Chiptune.

The festival will also host a House and Techno party on Saturday and a Closing Party on Sunday, as well as a Virtual 3D event at Kelham Island Museum today, from 6pm.

The music, art and technology festival, which usually takes place in a number of Sheffield’s favourite venues, received huge praise in the national press following the event held in October 2019, even bagging DJ Magazine’s coveted ‘Best of British’ award for ‘Best Boutique Festival 2019’ at an award ceremony held in London.

No Bounds festival organiser Liam O’Shea said: “Winning this means so much to me. I’ve put my life into this for the last three years so to win this award means more than I can say.

“It’s not just me though, it’s a team effort and I want to thank my incredibly hard working team, our supporters, funders, sponsors and partners who are supporting No Bounds in it’s desire to become a beacon of light for diversity and adventurous programming in the burgeoning UK festival circuit.

“It’s only our third year so to win this already is such an amazing vote of confidence for us, but also for the beautiful city of Sheffield where we produce this event. It’s a collaboration between No Bounds and the wonderful venues, culture and people of Sheffield where travellers are coming to from all over the UK and Europe with open minds and open hearts.”

Food and cocktails are availablethis evening and all events will be table service only. Tables of four or six can be booked online here. For more info head over to No Bounds facebok page here.
